On the evening of December 8, 2022, the Q Industries group celebrated our 35th anniversary. With humble beginnings, Mr and Mrs Quek founded Q Industries & Trade in Singapore in 1987, five years later we opened our Malaysian office with our founding partner Mr Addy Ngiam. Two years proceeding, we entered the Vietnamese market.
On the evening of December 8, 2022, the Q Industries group celebrated our 35th anniversary. With humble beginnings, Mr and Mrs Quek founded Q Industries & Trade in Singapore in 1987, five years later we opened our Malaysian office with our founding partner Mr Addy Ngiam. Two years proceeding, we entered the Vietnamese market. Since then, Q Industries, with the support of our key partners, clients and our team of employees, grew to become a regional force in the quality supply of restaurant and hotel OS&E equipment. The last 35 years have seen us grow to a team of over a hundred in three different countries, working on international projects from Australia through to the Middle East and Africa. With our foundation of solid brands like Quantum Pro, the continuing support of our partners and the dedication of our team, Q Industries will continue to grow for the next 35 years, providing the international hospitality industry Solutions with Simplicity.
During the celebration, Founder and Chairman Mr. Tony Quek reminisced on the start of Q Industries, with his wife, fellow founder, Mrs Jacqueline Quek driving the business on her own. To come so far with the next generation of leadership was something that he was proud of and thanked everyone for the support for helping us all get this far.
At the 35th anniversary dinner, Q Industries was honored to welcome more than 100 guests to our building to celebrate with us. It was an evening of fabulous food and wine, proudly sponsored by our key partners, Classic Fine Foods, Bootleggers, Belgo, Urban Bar and L’earth. It was a fun filled event that was hosted over the 3 areas of our second floor. Starting at our SMART room, we had guests enjoy 2 specially created cocktails by Proof & Co, that was paired with freshly sliced Iberico ham and generous servings of caviar. The next culinary stop was at our Quriosity Culinary academy kitchen, there, our guests were treated to several different live cooking stations serving pasta, oysters and many other hot dishes. The sweet ending of the night was at The Posh Duck where a full buffet of desserts were served. Everyone continued to party into the night to the musical delight of the live band.
At the end of the night, as our guests left well fed and watered, they took back with them a simple memento to remember the night, their own Quantum Pro pan to use in their own kitchen. It was definitely a memorable night celebrating the 35 years of Q Industries.
