eQuipe – A little note from the Q side
Welcome to the newly refreshed Q Industries. This little note from us is the start of our journey into the future with you. It is our small way of connecting with you, our valued clients and friends. We will be sending you quarterly short digestible updates on new products and industry trends. The eQuipe is a play on the French word for Team (équipe) and the English word to Equip; this really represents how the Q Industries team will work to bring Solutions with Simplicity to you.
This April, we will be participating in the largest biennial regional hospitality trade show in Singapore, the Food and Hotel Asia 2016. This inaugural edition of our eQuipe emailer highlights the exciting happenings at the Q Industries hospitality suite during FHA.

Coming to Food Hotel Asia 2016 Singapore?
This year the Q Industries’ hospitality suite will be bursting with excitement at the Food and Hotel Asia show 2016 from 12th to 15th April 2016.
We will unveil a new Q Industries, with a core proposition: Solutions with Simplicity.
Determined to serve you even better, we had a much closer look at design and procurement trends and defined new ways. We have enhanced internal processes and invested in new platforms. The transformation has begun.
To prepare ourselves for this, we spent part of last year listening to the challenges that the market and our clients are facing. And we did not stop there. We explored possible solutions and defined new opportunities.
Our commitment to be a one-stop service integrator, by providing unique and intelligent solutions, is reflected in our newly transformed logo. While our portfolio has also been given a boost with new product ranges, offering more possibilities and versatility in our solutions.
An e-commerce platform and an online catalogue will also be introduced later this year and with that a new way of working with us.

Making the Quantum Leap
It has been 3 years in the making, and we are excited to announce the launch of our very own professional cookware series Quantum Pro™. All this because we have heard your expert advice on what you expect of a high quality yet competitive priced range of kitchenware. First to be released in the series is a comprehensive range of stainless steel pots and pans.

W Maldives Joins Us at FHA
Q Industries has been a long time partner of the W Maldives Retreat & Spa, supplying fabulous tableware and diverse range of kitchenware to the hotel. Together with the Director of Cuisine Chef Paul Lewis, Q Industries had the opportunity to work on the retreat’s complete restyling in 2015. With the W Maldives having the flagship status for W Hotels & Resorts in the world, Chef Paul overhauled its cuisine and presentation. “The W brand has given me all the necessary tools to make W Maldives a fantastic adult only playground featuring three vibrant restaurants, two lounge concepts and one underground nightclub that elevates glamorous fun,” said Chef Paul on the project.
Currently W Maldives’ three chic culinary outlets (FISH, FIRE and KITCHEN) are showcasing ‘Ocean to Table’ is not a pioneering culinary concept in the world. Hence, W Maldives has only added its signature interpretation of it. It is all about tying in the organic river and sea herbs with the freshest catch of the day. I have been working closely with the local fishermen to ensure they follow the required size limits of their catch and use the fishing line only, which follows the W Maldives’ code of ethics – to make everything we do sustainable and use the freshest and organic ingredients possible. Naturally, the concept does not concern seafood only but also all our meat produce such as bacon, sausages, ageing meat and cold cuts, all of which are made here on the island.”
Chef Paul has specially flown in from Maldives to join us this FHA. He will showcase his culinary expertise with creations developed exclusively for this event based on his ‘Ocean to Table’ Concept. Be inspired by his dishes which will be prepared with our very own Quantum Pro™ products and artistically presented on our fine selection of tableware. Hear him share about his food and plating philosophy while enjoying some specially crafted cocktails paired to his menu.
All this happening at Q Social at Singapore Expo Hall 3 Stand E2-07 on the 13th of April.
